DSAI won
DSAI - Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim won the by-election in Penang just now by a majority vote of 15, 671. Officially, he won 31,195 votes defeating his BN opponent of 15,524 votes. While an independent candidate from AKIM only got 92 votes. anyway, the political scenario in Malaysia is set to take a different course...people are waiting in the days ahead of what will happen next?? They way I see it - If u can't beat'em, join'em but if u can't join'em, kill'em all
Death Race
Wat do u think this is..
I watched the movie last nite..a last minute decision tho' and I found the movie quite good..even though its a bit violent and there are a couple of gory scenes..and juz a bit of funny parts jua..but if it is how they portray the US would be in 2012, the collapse of the American economy..i guess it probably will come true..as its economy is on the verge of collapse now..I'd rated the movie "I like it ++"..hehe

Plus, Ramadhan is approaching and as usual its gonna be a hot and dry month. Ramadhan Ya Kareem! Semoga di panjangkan umur kitani semua untuk Ramadhan tahun ani dan Ramadhan yang akan datang, Amin!

Dastar galore
The pic was taken from waddie's blog. It interests me coz I haven't seen Bruneians wearing dastar during a wedding function for a very long time. This should be a Brunei wedding function of the year...hehe..coz not only the groom wore dastar but it looked like the whole family and relatives wore the dastars as well..truly cool and unique..it brings back the memories of Brunei weddings in the old days. Good idea for my babyfruit's wedding next year..hehe.. moreoever this culture of wearing dastar should be practice during malay wedding functions..

The scroll
It looks simple as the old chinese man do the calligraphy thingy. He probably has done it since he was a kid. Today was the last day of the Halal Expo at ICC and yess I went there again..woohoo... and I tot I've browsed thro' the whole expo on Saturday..rupanya inda..dats is why ku kejumpahan the Calligraphy booth today. So in the end, I only bought a very beautiful scroll of a calligraphed ayat, adding to the collection of my paintings.

Killer dogs
The 2 year old girl in the pic was mauled to death by two rottweiler dogs in Thailand while her mother was severly injured when trying to save her. I hope this incident will never happen in Brunei despite the recent dog attacks on the children. The stray dogs should be put to sleep in order to contain their population and the authorities should do this action swiftly before someone gets mauled to death. We cannot tolerate these incidents anymore and those so-called animal lover people against eliminating the stray dogs. Mau nya one of their family members kana maul to death baru tah tepalak mata durang...bukan kan minta2 ah..yg. banar nya..we hafta to do sumthing abt it b4 its too late..
Photo sessions, Gratis lho!
Eva, Wall-e and the Mop
The only Bruneian cast of the High School musical 3 movie..hahaha..you wish my friend..we had some photo sessions with most of the movie posters at Q-lap cineplex prior watching the sneak peek of Wall-e..hehe..FYI, the movie is absolutely hilarious and funny..even a short clip before the movie is even funnier..its called presto, click here to view it...anyway, i rate Wall-e a B-

Cheek kissing
This is quite uncommon in Brunei especially between men. But somehow, whenever I met a few of my friends whom I seldom meet, we always cheek-kiss each other. This I got used to during my one month long stay in Cairo a few years back. Its a culture in the Middle East, Southern Europe and the Mediterranean countries like Italy (Mafia culture, hahaha). Somehow, Bruneians(typical Bruneians) see it differently...when in fact cheek-kissing between men n women is actually inappropriate in our religion and culture except between direct family members..
Running slows ageing process
It probbaly is..thats according to a study conducted over two decades by American Researchers at the Standford University School of Medicine..for further info. read page 42 on today's Borneo Bulletin..hehe..dats why i love running..it gives me pleasure, joy and satisfaction...if you can't run..brisk walking is gud enuff..
Bravo!

London 2012 Olympic
London 2012 staffs gathered with other people working in Canary Wharf to watch the spectacular Beijing Opening Ceremony on the big screen. I'm sure they will make the next olympic better than the Beijing Olympic...but i think the Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony is all-time greatest one ever and future olympic hosts will not measure up the 2008 olympic..
Where are the mascots?
I was watching the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic from the beginning through the end. One thing, i was curious sampai ku nunggu abis atu d mana cauldron nya coz apparently throughout the ceremony, i couldn't spot the cauldron and surprisingly in the end ada tia..amazing..and i noticed that the olympic mascots did not show up..as traditionally the mascot owez shows up..oh yeah plus i like the smiley face fireworks..wooohooo..Go! China Go! n where is our Brunei contingent??

The iconic stadium
The Bird's Nest is the ultimate stadium that man has ever built, beating 13 other shortlisted design entries. After the Great Wall of China, the stadium is one of the new wonders of the modern world. Click here to see the other shortlisted designs. Pick the one you like. I still like the Bird's Nest.

King Burger
The King burger, how i wish Big Mac cemani jua
What's left of the anchovy pizza, i only eat a small piece
I still prefer the burgers at RMS diner in Gadong but the best burger is owez the Ramlee's Burger..tapi kalau pizza, Fratini's is much more delicious than Pizza Hut..gnya don't order the anchovy pizza like the one in the pic..its too salty..
Smaller is better
I never tot that Berita Harian (BH) newspaper's new look would be smaller than the Borneo Bulletin (BB)..In terms of width, they are in par but in length, BH is a bit shorter...dis is way better than the previous size of BH..payah eh membaca mun basar2 atu..esp. when u r in a plane trying to read one..hahaha..but the new look is only a bit thicker..as a compromise to the size..
