Hari Raya decor on my office door
..the decoration turns out to be totally different, unconventional and yet simple. That's what we did to the Hari Raya wall decor in our office. Compare to the other sections, ours is the simplest one. When women decorate theirs with flowery and ketupat thingy, we put up firecrackers and fireworks and an origami-made lantern...hahaha..hows that?
This Hari Raya advert has the best moral story of all and it touched my heart when it was first advertised on astro.
I wouldn't call it magic lah. In fact its just a good trick with good hand manouvre and special gadgets, innit? But the performances by the four lads at Cheezbox was a cool street magic. I was amazed at one point and Zul was even impressed of it. Yang bisai nya kami ah macam truly kana entertain ani bah..hahaha..baik jua duduk di pisuk2 eh..hahaha..
I finally found it and of course I bought it. Its been a while I've been looking for it and yeah its quite expensive for a very good quality cowhide. But, I heard it's more expensive in Australia. There are actually quite a lot of different patterns but this is the one I like most coz it's brown and white plus a few patches around it. Anyone interested kan membali, just let me know as I am planning to be the supplier of Cowhide in Brunei...hehehe...

Finally, sampai jua akhir nya sahur dim sum at Dynasty last sat night and I guess its been a tradition for me and my friends having sahur dim sum sana ramadannually (every ramadan every year). This year the price per person has increased from $13.90 few years back to $18.50 now..jauh eh naik nya ah..but at least its worth it for me coz one thing I didn't eat much during sungkai, lapar banar ku mun kan kurek idung pun kajar2..hahaha..and plus Dim Sum there is better than anywhere else in Brunei...
I used to make last minute baju melayu for Hari Raya for the past few few years and its been 3-4 years I didn't make new ones for Raya..the thing is jarang bah memakai baju melayu ani so why bother make a new one when I still have the old ones which are still in superb condition..membazir saja..kalau bini2 nda heran lah coz they juz wanted to show off their fashionable baju kurung..yg. mahal ah and usually over style...and over lah..hahaha..
hehe..some will hate this post..imagine if ada bejual di brunei..tantu ku bali tu eh..hahaha...
Well at first we thought the guy singing atu Japanese..in our mind Kitaro..hahaha (He wish)..anyway, sekali nya he sang blues songs throughout his lepaking..we applauded him after his first song atu coz ngam we juz arrived at the De'Valley cafe jua..cool lah..i mean not everyday we see this kind of act..bisai nyanyi nya ah..pedahal ramai patrons at the time..
Not even the emergency police car can move in the ever traffic congested road in Bangkok..we can only hear the siren from our Tuk-tuk..hahaha..syukur tah udah di Brunei ah..ketawa lakat org Thai mun ia stuck in the traffic jam di Brunei ah..atupun udah orang kitani ani mengusut, baru stuck sekajap..dui malai ku..hehe...not unless orang atu kan tekirit kah apa..hahaha..
It was just a light nap until I started to snore..bangun tah ku..hahaha...not realizing someone was sitting next to me..it was really a nice nap on the perch of a walkway near a building in Bangkok..with the wind blowing the cool air...anyway, thanx junior for snapshooting this pic..I miss Bangkok..Poor ele..and I shared my thought with my friend at that time what if we ask the owner of the ele if we can take a ride back to the hotel..hahaha..gerenti batah tu kan sampai..hahaha..I guess its a common scene of the ele at the already narrow Arab street, barangkali everyday ia lalu sana...good business for the owner though.
At first I thought the debut Formula 1 GP in S'pore was last night..hehe..rupa-rupanya next week. Baik jua lah tu coz I really wanna watch the first Formula 1 evening GP in history. How cool would that be plus I hope it'll rain. woohooo! So, anyway, I went to a shisha bar instead and ngam ada soccer match between Chelsea and Man U and I predicted its gonna be a draw game and I was totally right. And ramai lagi tu supporters Chelsea ah, most of them blacks.It was really a cool Yamaha bike show,if it was a vespa I'd probably took the pix of every bike. Ani pun udah ku awesomely impressed with the show. Cool designs and great creativity on the bikes. In fact they held the show at two separate locations, only separated by a shopping mall. Each bike has its own uniqueness and very detail in its design.
This is what I call creativity..even though so simple. I stumbled upon this wall at an underground walls near the Chatuchak Market which is in fact an underground market and a modern one. I guess it is similar to the Suntec city underground mall,only this one is a smaller version.
Its been raining everyday and today I just can't avoid it..well at least I was wearing my slipper tadi, if it was shoes tadi..it'd got dirty and soaked and gerenti bebau tu olehnya..well so much for adventure, one has to endure it..hahaha..mun ganya mengharungi lumpur yang licak..sekadar..tapi jangan jua, pernah kali putus selipar ah bejalan arah licak ani..mun rakat..hahaha..ampit ku kali tu pengalaman atu..hehe..
I was laughing when I came across both paintings..the one with the boobs was painted or perhaps sprayed on a tent canvas (obviously) and it was displayed somewhere on the street and the wedding painting is of course oil on canvas being exhibited at a National gallery..total contrast..but both are kind of funny..
the buah nangka..hahaha...basar hantap nangka nya and they way the lady displaying it atu lagi bisai..i'm sure nangka nya atu manis coz it looks and smells sweet...i think i'm gonna look for durian kanyaw tomolo nite..but so far I haven't seen one yet..
