Weekend break..woohoooo

i definitely need one..wooohooo..its been a very very hectic week since i got back actually..tons n tons of werk still hafta be done..inda pulang membari stress but mentally tiring saja..but i'm gonna enjoy my weekend ani in KL eventho'KL is my least favorite destination during holiday..anyway, chin chin every1..have a nice weekend ya'all..p.s..wadd..nandos, starbux..bagaking..wooohooo..

hahaha..i juz love it when the boys 'do it' the pondan thingy..hahaha..talor bah..but cali..some people call pondan a 'member'..me n my friends call'em 'HV' as in handsome valentino..well ada story behind it..which i can't recall..hahaha..but anyway, its owez fun to see cemana ulah durang (the members/HV) or the wannabes yg. mcm dlm video ah..hahahaha...but regardless who or what they are...its up to them coz its their life coz after all we r all humans..innit?

Le Meow..

Our family cat has turned 10 yrs old dis month..which is equivalent to 56 yrs old of the human age..kira old lah udah tu..i hope he'll live another 5 yrs if not 10..c lanun tu nama nya..hehehe..we hav 2 cats n a kitten..last month some1 promised me to give 2 kittens but he only gave 1..so i took it n gave it to some1 else...hahaha...

first time ku meliat upacara membasuh kaki ah, dats y i was a bit enthusiastic taking the snapshots tadi..gnya too crowded..hehe..anyway, I really don't know wats the story behind the ritual but i'm gonna ask some1 who might know abt it..yg. sioknya lapas org membasuh batis2 pengantin atu..durang bagi $$$ lagi tu n they put it onto the gangsa..so who'll own the money??..(spoil eh kasut ah, sapa punya kan tu ? ngacau..hahaha)

Energy Day Fair

Quite happening jua lah at the Taman Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien atu..even though its quite a hot day 2day..but lots of kids around n fun games for them..the joy n fun beat the hot condition..way to go kids..i bet in the morning event lagi ramai org datang tu..more happening i guess..i went there with waddie, juz before we do the routine SJS thingy..hehehe..

Security check..hahaha..

at the entrance of the Empire Hotel and Country Club as there is an ASEANPOL thingy going on di sana but its rather an over-rated security measures kali ah..like its just ASEANPOL kali ah or watever..its not like the Head of States meeting..kalau atu tantu jua..but atu pun security check nya atu mcm loose..hahaha...CRAP!..just for the sake of showing to the delegates pakah saja the extent of security measures they've taken..i BET..

Another e mail - Cyclone Nargis Memoir

Dear All,

"The Nargis Victims of Myanmar Trust" Team just came back from Cyclone hard-hit Area for second time.

We went for three days trip and we supplied 2 weeks foods for 16000 people a long the way with our medical team. We were tired from emotional trip with full of joy,sadness,sorrow, disbelieve and our team got a lots of thanks from victims. Many of us came back with flu due to very bad weather a long the way.

Shockingly, we are still first one to arrive to many villages a long the way after two weeks. We went into small creeks, rivers with little motor boats and supplied foods and shelters, giving medical care and took 2000 photos and videos. Here are some to share with all of you.Once I finished all my photos we will share our stories and photos with all of you. We did very effective donations a long the way. We thank you so much for your funding and so far we raise $75000. We are all volunteers and committed to spend every single dime of your donation into the hand of victims.

With little fund left, we are moving to second phrase - to build houses so victims can go back to rice fields before raining season. We are going back to the same region in two weeks time with construction, supplies and medical group.

Friday hairdo

I'm not sure the outcome of the hairdos..hehe..but i juz didn't like the smell of the dye..it stinks..anyway, the ladies (bloggers blogged hahaha) sed the process of dyeing n ironing the hair kah..(watever it is) takes about 5 silly hours..malas tah ku ingau..hahaha..but the hairstylist is quite pretty tho' hehe..anyway, we guys ke kadai gunting LINGKA saja..$3 jua gnya plus shaving lagi..cheap n quick..with free massage lagi..

Chronicles of Rascal J - The C class, the bilis and the tasik

hehe..boleh buat movie kah bunyi nya..? haha..anyway, i'll drive the new C Class once in a while...kan bawa ke opis..i dun dare..coz bnyk mangsa kereta kana garit udah..but haven't caught the culprit yet..anyway, i managed to find ikan bilis 2day at the pasar..they're 4 my cats...wohooo..also bot fila2, sotong etc etc. n yess..for the first time in a month krg ku ke tasek again...i hope nda ujan eh..n i hope no chores krg...

Ignorant parents

I really pity those kids who have such ignorant parents..kalau apa2 anak nya atu ..org lain di salahkan...tapi typical Bruneian jua bah..i mean sudah pun bodoh.. sombong lagi tu..lots of Bruneians are like that..esp. when there's a car collision, yg. salah atu banar2 tah ia mengakun yg. ia nda salah...rite rite?..

E mail frm a friend

Dear all,Thank you vy much for your concern. Fortunately, I'm safe after the most dangerous moment in life (so far). Anyway, as soon as the storm was over, it was found that there were much much worse things happened in the delta region and some parts south of Yangon. So we group of friends started the supporting and helping the survivors by using our own money, giving our own clothes and so on. Its a great pleasure to see somebody is happy with your support and encouragement. For the last few days,we went to small and remote villages south of Yangon near to the sea, where the government rescue teams cant reach. I will send you the photos of our activities next time. they're not ready with me for the moment.Thank you again! Keep in touch!!!

Nxt2 Weekend in KL

Juz to fulfill my craving for Nandos and starbux..tapi starbux juz almost 2 weeks ago jua ku visited..oh well..i'm juz gonna relax, eat, jalan2 window shopping, SPAing..paintings-hunting wooohooo...and ABSOLUTELY NO SHOPPING..so boys n gals..sorry lah tu ah..no matter what kalau kan bekirim ..pebaik tah with $$$...Sorry..tidak akan di layan..hahaha..

The man with the hat is back

Yeah! I'm referring to Indiana Jones or better known as Indy...the movie premier is on Thursday..but I expect its not gonna be as good as the first 3 installments..probably maybe lah..but still i love dat kind of adventurous movie..the last movie watched is What Happens in VEGAS..it is sooo hilarious..hahaha..i tink i'm gonna watch it again..hahaha..

I just can't update the blog frm the office anymo' ..mcm lagging berabis..since the past few days udah ah..probably connection problem..i think i shld try the GO broadband thingy ah..my colleague uses it..and it seems ok than makai cable connection..even at my home even better connection than di office..faster lagi...

Familiar statement? hehehe...btw never trust published maps most the times..coz they are quite oftenly deceiving...hahaha... well at least not to me...but when u go traveling or backpacking esp. if u r lost...having a map handy is very important and yg. paling penting sekali is owez asks the people around you..regardless the language barrier..n most importantly owez bring a pocket flashlight...hahaha...believe it or not i couldn't find any flashlight in Suvarnabhumi Airport when i needed it the most....CRAP!

Buns,buns, butter

I simply love eating buns..this basket of buns actually not all buns tho' hahaha..were totally the best i've ever eaten so far..y? b'coz they contain like shredded olives i tink and when served while they're warm..nyaaaamaaaan! btw, the place was an italian restaurant called l'opera..oh oh the Linguine marinara is btw better than Frats..hehe..

I fell in love when i first set my eyes on this beautiful artwerk..instantly i bargained the price and alas nda batah lapas atu i bot it..hahaha..nda ku nyasal eh..from US$140 to US$80...tarus the shop owner merampak rampak usin ku atu..hahaha..kira ia membuang sial lah tu..chinese superstition..it looks mcm real but its better than the real thing coz the jade stones , rubies, sappahire etc make it mo' lawa lagi...but it is yet to be framed..hahaha..

The kite runner

I was recommended to read dis book by some1 i met recently. Tho' i haven't read it yet,i was being told it tells an amazing story..btw rocky i bot a copy for u..hehe...i'll read the book when i'm free..anyway,how i wish we have BORDERS in Brunei..ani the nearest we can go to is S'pore...doesn't any1 read anymo'? Btw, i'll post a review of the book as soon as i finished reading it..and the author is KHALED HOSSEINI

Oil on canvas

I have been longing to collect paintings on canvas for a long time n now i tink i'm starting to do so seriously..its a good long term investment..y? simply bcoz a good painting can be sold for a good price..a person can put a higher price for a painting even tho' the painting is cheap..like i have this less than $10 painting..a friend of mine put up a price of $80 to buy it..see wat i meant..

hey boys and gals, i'm back ..yaaay..its been a while yeah..u all tot i'd be stranded..hahah..u wish..but almost tho' at the last minute..anyway, i'm sooo not updated with wats on and wats been in Brunei..bnyk ketinggalan eh..but i'm glad i'm back and in one piece..hahaha..but i'm tanned..n i need 2 recover a lot of my daily routine..i.e running..hahaha..so juz keep on reading now..i'll be here for now..hahaha..

We were rite on time when the eles were doing their usual performances..i.e dancing to the tune of the music..hahaha..no wonder the people were no where to be seen around the place..rupanya meliat the eles show..hahaha..enjoy the flick..cute eles

Hitchiking..errr..

It was such a long day 2day when the journey dat usually takes 5 to 6 hours took almost 8 hours when the bus i rode broke down in the middle of nowhere..hahaha..all the passengers had to go down n it was such a hot day..i tried to hitchhike n stop passing cars n buses but none stopped..hahaha..finally after waiting for almost an hour the replacement bus arrived..pheeew..tapi at least dpt pengalaman jua lah n i met a a new japanese friend during the ordeal..he gave me a 50 yen coin and i gave him a brunei dollar..

The Quay

Its the best hotel room i've ever stayed even tho' its juz a boutique hotel, like only 16 rooms available in the hotel tapi i must say its kewl eh really kewl..the design is for sure minimalist but yet modern..even i love the toilet/bathroom..kalau di ikut design nya ani gerenti lawa ni..it has LCD screen, and kipas siling nya satu flap saja..i've seen it being sold in Brunei but mahal..but overall its 10 out of 10 eh..n it has jacuzzi on the rooftop..how kewl is dat..

Fridge magnets

Some ppl collect fridge magnets..a few friends of mine do..while i collect hotel's door tags..u know the "please do not disturb" and "please make up my room" tag..i would usually ask my collegues to get them for me whenever they go abroad for werk or holiday..i lost count how many i've got so far..so if any of u guys go abroad..jgn lupa ah ambil kan ku the door tags..cheers love..

twice alone

I had 2 good flights 2day coz twice i sat alone in a three seats row..woohooo..peace of mind..makan sanang, naik kaki atas kursi sanang..hehe...so practically i sat in the middle seat..i'd prefer aisle seat in every flight..so sanang ke zamban..n seafood meal is owez my preference..tadi i had a prawn salad n for the main course its salmon ...then on the other flight they served tiramisu ice cream..how i wish gelato..hahaha..anyway, if updates are slow..paham2 le..internet nada tah ada tu..

Wanted

Btw, the trailer of the upcoming movie wanted was so cool plus angelina jolie kali starring ah..the owner of the iconic lips..haha..anyway ironman movie was cool but i'll juz give a C++ lah...i watched its movie premiere tadi, quite full house and its a 2 hour movie..there were 10 of us watching and we hafta sit separately like 4-4-2..hahaha..mcm susunan team bola tia jua..hahaha...anyway the next movie kan di liat is i think indiana jones..soon to be released..wooohooo..the man with the hat is back..i hope the movie is gonna be great..

Out of town
