A lost cause

PAD leaders and supporters are very selfish people. They don't even care about the well being of their own people as well as foreigners stranded at the airports. Just look at the pic, the guys are playing badminton inside the terminal building. Anyway, so what, its their lost..whatever happens..happens..this whole thing just bring shame to them, I don't even care if they kill each other...as long as I'm safe and sound.

oh gigi ku..

I went for a dental scaling and polishing this afternoon,just right before going to the gym. Usually, I do it in December and June every year but this year I just can't wait till December..haha..too much cavities and stains already..yeah the effect of drinking a lot of coffee...and btw, just before I went to the dental clinic, a lady commented that my teeth is suay maak maak (very beautiful)..hahaha..she made me laugh out loud..I sed to her may suay leei..(not beautiful at all)..hahaha..out jua eh bini2 atu eh..and btw, the cost of scaling and polishing is pretty cheap, only B$21...and pretty good job as well..

Meals of the day

Today I ate Shrimp fried rice with mixed veggies for lunch and for dinner I just ate roasted half chicken and a cup of hot chococolate. I don't eat much nowadays, but totally am not dieting at all. In between meals, I usually eat either nuts, cookies or banana. Tomorrow, I'm planning to eat chicken tikka masala for lunch, yummy...and dinner I'm craving for the burgers at Burger King..

and they are either visually impaired or blind. They sat in a line and sang their songs while the crowd passed by. They were among the many so-called street musicians performing to earn $$$. I'll post a different one next time.

..colorful bracelets, all the things being sold at the sunday night market were really interesting to look at. Phom suu sua cheet taai thai - I bought a thai cotton shirt. May phEEn le suay maak maak. I am sure kalau bini2 di bawa ketempat ani, ku gerenti banyak membali...hahaha..hadirkan saja $$$..

More lively in the evening..

..and heavenly crowded..hahaha..yup yup, it was the same stretch of road of the weekend market. Walking was one step at a time but the fact that there were many things to see on both sides and even in the middle of the road make it even more interesting. I bought 'cucur udang' from one of the gerai as an evening snack. There were so many foodstalls around and I tried a few local food. Arooy maak maak, khrap.

Weekend happening PART 1

Why can't we have this?

Do you guys seriously think that such events can take place in Brunei every weekend? Perhaps yes and maybe not. I think it can be done with a good plan and well-planned itinerary. Seriously, all the facts and figures about the tourists coming into Brunei for me are not genuine tourists, I believe they are mostly transit tourists which does not purely contribute tourism income to our nation. Think about it.

What next?

Weekend market parade takes place every other weekend but the market itself takes place every weekend. Soo much soo interesting to see. Beautiful ladies, unique cultures, varieties of food and so much more. I couldn't ask for more...I just love it.

Stopover dessert

yeah..it was really a hot and sunny day but I like it rather than cold gloomy day...n guess what..i'm getting tanned than ever..hahaha..anyway, I stopped by to indulge the cookies and cream/chocolate and cookies ice cream at HD after a long walk to the softball game pitch which I couldn't find..so anyhow, it was a long walk of the weekend as I started just before 1030am and got back home at 430pm..but i like it..

Softball game invitation

I've got an invitation to play softball this Sunday afternoon..somewhere..the thing is I don't play softball at all..not my type of sports..actually I planned to go for a sunday swim since batah udah nda swimming atu..but I might just go and have a look at the softball game after that..dat is if i still can remember the location that I've been told days ago..

..errr going to a concert of one of the top and very famous bands in Thailand - BODYSLAM. Whoooaaa! I was totally impressed though I don't know all their songs and frankly the show was awesome..baru happening concertnya ah..and in the end I was partially deaf due to excessive noise pollution (gara2 teriakan bini2 di belakang ku..hahaha). The sound quality of the vid is a bit low, I think my pC kali. Khuunnii, khun tham aray khrap?( What did you do?)

I was enjoying the sushi set at a nearby Raan aahaan Yiipun (Japanese Restaurant) right after the concert. Phom hiw maak maak (I was starving). I missed Haru Maki..hahaha..

Painting for sale

yeah..and its charcoal..the painting was depicted from a more than 20 year old pic..and I can assure you that it is really beautiful..suay maak maak..n it costs about B$130..its expensive pulang but the quality is just superb..perfectly like the real pic..

I just watch the malay rendition of the Budweiser beer advert "whaaaasuuuup?". I thought the advert was like 8 years ago and now they just came up with the malay rendition..bangas..I remember we did the apaaaadaaa thingy during that time...and the local bloopers reminded me of my student years...anyway, i just thought the malay version blooper is just mediocre..I found it not that funny..really..they tried hard to..but naaah! maybe something original would crack me up..

Forget Le Taj..

This is the best indian food I've ever had in life..beats Le Taj rock-bottom..hahaha..its way much better than any other Indian restaurants in Brunei...yeah..beat that..plus its cheaper as well..the restaurant is not dat plush..simple but serves amazing food..

The Subway way...

its not diet but more like a healthy lifestyle I must say...now I do subway take aways on a daily basis..i juz love the salads and the bread there..I do eat rice and naan bread every other day as well as roasted half chicken which i can get as cheap as B$2.50 from a Muslim restaurant...and today I started my jogging routine at 7am and 5pm..yeah its gonna be twice a day like I did before..hasta la vista baby! I gotta pick up my stamina coz I wanna sign up for muay Thai soon..yeeeeha!

yeah dats right it was the final nite of the Loi Kratong festival last nite...even kereta berhiasnya pun basar2 and mostly glittering...i bet gerenti ada pertandingan kereta berhias tarus..plus the route of the procession is quite long..probably khit waa ( I think) around 5 kilometers..kira jauh jua tu...

Macam-macam ada..from gulali candy to a wonderful world of balloons and even cute and adorable bunnies are for sale...just remember Loi Kratong falls on 11,12,& 13 of November every year...experience it if you have the chance..it'll be cool..

A night to remember..probably the most beautiful night view of the sky I've ever seen in my life...the sky was filled with flying lanterns as if they were like a thousand stars..
