Nothing much to say. I went out to the countdown square like half an hour before midnight, just to see how the new year is being celebrated here. For sure the square and its surroundings were packed with people and a concert was in progress in the middle of it. Hundreds of sky lanterns were seen floating in the sky but not as many as during the Loi Kratong festival.
