Bruneians are greedy and unshameful

I was laughing when I read today's online news on brudirect "Run On Zakat Millions", why am I not surprised...hahaha...taking HM's titah for granted, they thought they'll receive the zakat that easily..hahaha..tanda tanda kiamat just happened right under our nose, right in Brunei itself..shame on those who claimed that they deserve to receive the zakat when in fact they have the means to meet the ends. They are burdened by their own unnecessary debt. Ok so what will happen after they receive the zakat? I'm sure they'll still be in debt and I'm sure they will still make loans over and over again and will claim the zakat over and over again... Bruneians are not poor, they just make themselves poor and they are just plain greedy. And yes, there are poor people in Brunei but the real poor people don't ask for money or zakat, they don't do that at all. In fact they are ashamed to do that. I hope the MORA will give the zakat to the rightful individuals, the poor who have never asked for anything or help from others...which are really hard to find. I hope this issue should be address in the next Khutbah because unshameful Bruneians are taking things for granted.
